And so the final rankings before the final week of the regular season is here and despite the H2H win Canton does not get the clean sweep up top but all roads lead through Ohio!
The way rankings have held up top should lead to some very exciting QFs & SF games but could we see some upsets from some of these other up and down teams?
Will this be Baltimore's final home game of the season or will their strength at home be enough to pull the upset and receive a strong position in the wildcard round?
The penultimate week of Power Rankings has arrived and the movement of teams has slowed to a crawl. This upcoming week has many matchups that land near one another and the teams below the top 6 should continue to shuffle a little.
The biggest story is the tie for first and which way it will break after Florida pitched a shutout and Canton continued decimating teams.
Top 5 is unchanged as Florida & Canton settle into a tie up top and we're not surprised. Canton has their last tune up game before they have the GOTY vs Florida.
Elsewhere Tulsa continues to surge ahead and keep pressure on Minnesota. This week should settle a lot in the Central.
Finally uhhh what's going with Carolina? I swear they must be cursed.
Welcome back to another week of What Have You Done For Me Lately! As Canton sat on their laurels the Florida Storm were off winning an East Division crown. That makes them the better team, right?
Somehow Fort Worth blows out a top 10 team and holds firm at 5 & Minnesota loses to a surging Baltimore and also holds onto the #3 spot. Barring absolute chaos it looks like the top 5 will stay on course this week as well
Welcome in to the Top 16 Carolina! A standard up, down and all around season has lead you to sneak in and a game at Louisiana is up next to stick around!
- The top 3 hold steady and Canton continues to accrue 1st place votes. We seem to be on a collision course for Canton at Florida in Week 13 for the top seed.
- Charleston continues to win and rise in the rankings. Beats a top 5 team, makes top 10 and has another #5 up next.
- Is San Diego flying under the radar after an early 2nd bye has them at 4-3? How would a sinking Seattle be worth to the voters or a listing LA? It's starting to look like all roads go thru Canton.
Week 9 is upon us and teams are beginning to filter into contenders, pretenders or salvagers.
The top 6 remain the same with some slight shuffling but Arizona is creeping back up after a monkey off their back win vs Baltimore who falls into the low end scrum around 50 votes.
Atlanta & Alamo City also grab large boosts after their respective wins with Alamo City knocking Queen City out of the top 16 clearing a way for Charleston to enter after taking the Corbyn Cup home once again.
Seattle continues to tumble and all eyes will be on their matchup vs #6 DC as they look to hold onto their top 10 positioning or risk plummeting down the ranks.
Welcome to Week 8 Power Rankings!
- The Florida/Canton flip flop continues for another week as their matchup gets ever closer
- Seattle loses a lot more than just 4 spots this week
- Baltimore has begun their run and the deja vu has set in
- Alamo City has an outside shot at getting back in with a ranked opponent ahead and Tulsa on bye
- Will the Battle for the Carolinas bear fruit in respect from voters for either club on this week's Monday Night Spectacular?
Monday night saw one of the most competitive games of the season play out in primetime with Baltimore holding on to beat San Diego in the final seconds! Week 8 begins Friday at 7:30 pm ET with the Matt Willson Preweek Show #makeanimpact

Don't shoot the messenger but Florida's late game heroics was enough for the voters to swing the 1 point gap into their favor this week as the battle for #1 wages on!
Atlanta takes another close loss on the chin but shows enough to stay in frame this week as well and should feel safe staying there after a bye week barring any chaos below.
Baltimore is back and their schedule over the next few weeks will show everyone where they stand this season. Watch out below!
Big time matchup this week has to go to #6 Fort Worth hosting #7 Vancouver is a mid season test for both squads that could begin to define their respective 2 halves!
Another week in the books and the voters have no clue what to do with Atlanta as they reenter the top 10 and go back to 9th with a game vs a tumbling enigma in #14 Tulsa on the horizon.
The distance between 1 & 2 shaves itself down to 1 as the teams gain equal footing to another as a decisive matchup looms between the two in Week 13.
Baltimore is no more as this continues to feel eerily similar to last season with a get back game vs reminted #13 Mexico City. Is this the start of a run or, as some may put it, the beginning of the end?
It's still early in this 22nd season of the SFL and you can tell by the movement below. Seattle skyrockets nearly into the top 5 after drubbing a previously unbeaten Tulsa squad. Queen City follows close behind after a nervy game against a slumping Indy. And Fort Worth & Minnesota both pop into the Top 10 after convincing wins last week!
On the flip side we see Alamo City continue to plummet after an OT loss to unranked Carolina, Baltimore almost falling out after getting run off by Florida and Atlanta somehow loses the love of the voters after a 1 point loss on the road.
Lot of teams on bye this week as the rankings may begin to mellow out but expect it to ramp back up the following week as the marquee matchups begin again.
Tonight, Fort Worth (2-2) prevented Houston (3-1) from converting a third down in a blowout win, while Queen City lost the lead to Indy then stormed back, improving to 2-1. Games resume Saturday at 6:30 pm ET #makeanimpact
A new look Top 5 indeed this week! Canton has usurped the #1 spot for the first time in their short history after walloping Baltimore as they fall out of the top 10.
Atlanta has risen 14 spots(!) in the past two weeks after an early stumble as they look to halt San Diego from getting on a roll themselves.
Vancouver enters the top 5 this week and has it all to do to stay there as they welcome another stingy defense vs Canton
Finally one of the top matchups this week is suddenly the battle for the Wes...I mean Central as #8 Arizona plays host to new #10 Denver who have been silencing critics the past few weeks!
Week 3 kicked off with a bang Friday! Arizona outscored Charleston 21-0 in the 2nd half to claim its 2nd-straight win. Minnesota got in the win column with a nailbiter vs. Mexico City!

Action resumes Saturday at 6:30 pm ET! #makeanimpact
Some computer troubles had us held up but not out as we present Week 3 Power Rankings along w/ the full breakdown!
No shenanigans this time as ACA hold 5 1st place votes and the #1 spot but Florida does get pipped again...
The Top 8 sans DC/VAN all play one another this week in what should lead to a big mix up next week with the highlight of those being #1 Alamo City travelling to #5 Houston.
Another big match to look forward to is #2 Canton hosting big bad #7 Baltimore to show they really do mean business this season.
Good luck to everyone this week and we'll see you here next week for potentially a new look top 5!
Welcome back to another season of the SFL and Power Rankings! Week 1 is in the books and it was a doozy. There's a new team to enter in Queen City upsetting Baltimore, we have Canton top 5, Tulsa getting a 1st place vote and Arizona nearly getting blanked out of the graphic!
Welcome to the final week of Power Rankings for season 21! A bit...boring as there are no new faces just a reshuffling of winning and losing teams. Just about the whole Top 16 play each other though which should lead to a true shakeup as we look ahead to the Scenario Show on Saturday night!
This week the Central leader reenters the big boys club after 10 weeks!
Charleston flip flops with Carolina with their big rematch on the horizon as both fight for playoffs.
Vegas enters the Top 10 with San Diego as both hope to see #6 AZ slip @ Minny to keep the division open!
