Supercell’s “neo https://t.co/JTmpw4Qolz” update is set for the Summer of 2026, and this might save the game.
In a recent interview on the Brazilian YouTuber @SuperVinnyYT, @joinmoco Community Manager @JoaoInTheNorth shared new details.
🗓️ Release Window: Aiming for May or June, with a possible delay to August–October if extra polish is needed
🚫 No More Gacha: The "roulette" is officially gone! Cosmetics will now be bought directly with "M Gold"
⚔️ Progression Overhaul: The complex "builds" system is out. Say hello to Weapon Passes, "Upgrade Cores" for power, and a monster "Pokédex".
🏆 Competitive Shift: Leaderboards will now prioritize speedruns and performance over endless XP grinding.
🌪️ Dynamic Live Events: Supercell can now instantly trigger wild in-game events (like giant monsters or tornados) on the fly without app updates.
What are your thoughts on this major change? Do you think you'd be back to the game if you have played it earlier and dropped out?

a new look at neo moco coming this thursday through content creators 🔥 you'll get to see what we've been cooking! 🧑🍳
until then, I'll be sharing a small sneak peek every day.
here's the first and best one...
A TRY AGAIN BUTTON??
Hey, hunting crew 👋
Seeing a couple of questions floating around, so to answer them
When will neo moco launch ❓
We don’t have a date yet and don’t want to commit to one unless we’re 100% sure. We may have raised your expectations by suggesting the first quarter of 2026, even if it was subject to change, so we prefer to keep things vague for now. All I can say is that it won’t take a year or anything like that 🤝
Will there be an anniversary celebration ❓
We would never let this date go by. Don’t expect anything big but we’ll of course celebrate it. It’s our first anniversary, after all 🥳 Besides a small gift and kickstarting a new community event (no, it’s not a rerun of the cat one), we may drop a couple of small sneak peeks. Talk more Wednesday!
They built the game, realized it wasn’t engaging enough, and stopped new content. Now the big update meant to fix that is delayed, which makes it more frustrating.
I love https://t.co/tVwM5Wjszn, but the revamp process has been rough, and players have a right to be upset.🤷♂️
Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. But just know that you’re not being forced to keep playing moco.
Devs are aware that people will lose interest over time and are willing to take the hit on the player count, backlash etc.
They’d rather do it right, then rush it.
