Possession is one of those movies that I absolutely love the craft involved. But jeez, I didn't vibe with it. At all. It was an excruciating watch for me. But I am curious how the HELL Parker Finn is gonna remake it for American audiences. 😅
CRYSTAL LAKE TEASER TRAILER.
Premieres October 15 on Peacock.
The series follows single mother Pam Voorhees who has been unable to shake her grief after her young, sickly son Jason tragically drowned in the town lake almost a year before....
Guns Akimbo feels like a video game come to life. It actually made me a bit giddy when the characters would reference gaming.😂
I dug it. There's some great action sequences and darkly funny moments.
Samara Weaving is easily one of the hottest people on Earth. Like GAWD DAYUM. 🔥
The Sheep Detectives is everything you want from a Murder Mystery. It's one of the most well crafted films of the year. It's charming, cute, funny, and is filled with emotional scenes that are bound to make anyone tear up. Wonderful film.
First teaser for Mark H. Rapaport’s horror film ‘GODHEAD.’
Starring Kimball Farley and Sarah Coffey as twins who proclaim themselves prophets to a priest, blurring reality and delusion as they involve him in their supposed divine mission.
Premiering at Fantasia 2026.
The Crow(2024) is a blend of Action, Gothic Romance, and Crime Thriller. I genuinely think it's a good movie. You can tell a lot of love got poured into it that just sadly didn't connect with audiences. I feel like time will be kind to it. Loved it in 2024 and I still do.
It's coming for us.
HOPE. From master filmmaker Na Hong-Jin. Starring Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Hoyeon, Taylor Russell, Cameron Britton, with Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender. Opens only in theaters September 9.
Pinball: The Man Who Saved The Game is a delight. It's such a fun and unique way to tell this tale. It just oozes charm and love. Mike Faist is so damn good but Crystal Reed just steals every scene. She's so elegant, charming, and just heartwarming.
Lovely film.
So glad to see that Lee Cronin's The Mummy is crushing it on HBO Max. My 2nd favorite movie of the year. It was a box office success and now a streaming hit.
Horror films will always find their audience and in due time The Mummy(2026) will get the love it deserves. 😌
An exciting mutant era begins now!⚡

Passenger is essentially a Haunted House movie on wheels. For the most part, I dug it. The sound design is excellent with some unique scare setups. André Øvredal knows how to use the camera movements and sync them with clever editing to build up tension.
Avatar: Fire and Ash could have been a great 2 hour film. But instead we get 3.5 hours of inconsistent character choices, overly long set pieces that become boring, and a 3rd act that is damn near identical to the 2nd movie. These films are not good.
I remember being the only person in High School that didn't vibe with Avatar. All these years later and I still don't. Such a unique world boiled down to the most cliche story and boring characters. 😭
