@thexpaw Recently got the G502 X, mainly because I wanted wireless with good battery runtime and many buttons for (csgo) surfing. It has optical switches that (allegedly) do not suffer from this debouncing issue. Pretty happy with it so far. Charging it about once per month.

@teamspeak I just got into ServerQuery a bit the other day to add a monitoring check for my TS3 server instance. We're still using it every day. Low latency 'cause self-hosted in regional datacenter, and i like my mic clicks. Just discord's Krisp noise cancelling is awesome and hard to beat

@ThreeKidsTidy @d_feldman I never said it'd be easy to use/well designed ;) Just pointing out that you *can* mute the mic. And since muting happens in the headphones, not in the app, the app has no clue. You have to pick one (and I'm not sure there's an API for mic muting, as opposed to vol up/down/mute)

@j_broboth @d_feldman Not "a" button, but on the Bose QC35 II that I have, you can press vol+ and vol- simultaneously to mute the mic when it's in use.

I just remembered that the reason for me giving up was exactly what you stated - before powering down my gaming PC at night, I'd need to remember switching inputs so that I could use the work laptop with it next day...
