@gimkit we are playing Gimkit draw today (always a hit). It has been awhile, but it still does the glitch where it will pick a the same student more than two or three times to draw if I choose "pick a random student." Is there a fix for this so that it picks diff kids? Thanks!

@EDUwithEmily I think a good answer has been we are big country with different needs, but those saying "our school does not have air conditioning/heat" my answer is your school should absolutely have those things and I hate that our gov't does not ensure all schools are in proper condition.

@EDUwithEmily @teenadreckman I am for it but parents overwhelmingly hate virtual days and believe that kids should enjoy snow days (parents tend to forget that virtual does not necessarily mean 7 hours of straight Zoom meetings).

@saulmdgaming @NAEmmanuele if curriculums actually had focus on personalized finance, kids would care more. Teachers (I'm one) need to admit that certain real world lessons have been lost because all we do is make kids "college ready" instead of "real world ready"

@TechySewell Allow yourself some grace! I've never done a January start, but as with August, take things slow because relationship building is important. Don't change who you are to seem more similar to the old teacher. Allow the kids to mesh with your strengths!
