Can @TheGreenParty please step up on #disability? Disabled people are facing attacks on their rights and welfare. Labour have outdone the Tories on cruelty and bigotry, the Tories are demanding even more, Reform are promising to dish more out. Who is your disability spokesperson?
Jenrick: "..those people who are doing a 40hrs/week & then choosing to do extra hours to look after their family.. those people can do those hours without paying any money to the tax man"
Why not address the fact that people working 40hrs/week can't look after their families?
Rich kids not working have a safety net. Poor kids not working face sanctions, hunger and debt. Same status on paper, totally different realities and you won't hear @bbclaurak talking about that, because rich kids get to travel, take gap years, whilst the poor have to work.
Labour 2 months before the GE 'The Govt must stop terrifying disabled people, PIP must stay as it is and no cuts to UC.
Labour when they won - 'We will go further to terrify disabled people, PIP will be decimated and so will UC plus we will include people on state pension'
I think that 35 hours work a week should not only pay the rent and put food on the table, but leave you enough over for the odd night out and an annual holiday. And if that belief makes me an economically illiterate leftwing extremist, so be it.
Why should I, as a taxpayer in Huddersfield, be paying for MPs who earn 3 or 4 times as much as me to have a cheaper glass of wine in central London than I could find anywhere in Huddersfield?
I don't understand what @UKLabour@DWPgovuk@patmcfaddenmp@stephenctimms are up to.
Do they genuinely think that incapacity for work due to sickness doesn't exist?
That UK is the only country in the world to eradicate all illness?

Too many people still imagine welfare benefits are generous because the media focuses on sensational stories instead of reality. In truth, disabled people and carers are on rates that are profoundly inadequate for modern living costs and disability-related expenses.
Labour continue to doom loop by flogging multiple dead horses:
❌ Fit Note "reform": proven 91.6% failure
❌ Employment Support for LCWRA: proven 97% failure
❌ ESA WRAG £ cut: proven no employment increase
❌ WorkWell: 902 out of 8,000 target 'helped' with work (89% failure)
MP's groaning and jeering as Hannah Spencer points out her constituents have to pay the full price for a pint whereas MP's get their alcohol subsidised #PMQs
Andy Burnham's Centre for Social Justice wants to remove PIP & LCWRA from 1.1m claimants - those currently assessed as too ill or disabled to work
But simultaneously only expects 10% (110,000) to move into work
So enforced poverty on ~1 million chronically ill & disabled people
The @The_TUC says that the success of last year's PIP campaigning can be 'directly attributed' to them, not the thousands of disabled people and their allies who wrote emails, met with MPs, joined lobbies, spoke to the media, organised debates and local/national protests.
😠😡
