@Jewish_Bookery I am not sure how "frumkeit" is an issue here. No one says that she did not understand the material. The point is that the writing style is recognizably his own. This is a literary observation that any professor could make, whether frum or not.

@Jewish_Bookery I never saw this reply before, but this was not the "frummie take". This was known to my father as a close student of Rav Hutner, who was there contemporaneously with those handwritten publications. We are among the inside families who knew Rebbetzin David up close.
@tpusafaith The traditional Jewish translation from Hebrew is "Whoever pursues charity and kindness will find life, charity and honor." There is a dispute between two sections of Talmud if s/he will find "life" in this world, "charity and honor" in Heaven...
