Listen, we don't want it either, but contrary to popular belief we don't control the weather (unless it's nice, then it's 100% on us).
Hot weather is coming and an Extreme Heat Watch is in effect Fri-Wed for the coasts, valleys, and Santa Ana Mountains: https://t.co/MXhJ1b0e0u
We are publicly asking @SeattlePD and @GovBobFerguson to consider reopening the Kurt Cobain case.
In 1994, authorities publicly characterized Cobain’s death as self-inflicted before a full forensic analysis could be completed.
In 2005, then-SPD Chief Gil Kerlikowske asked former Capt. Neil Low to audit the case. Low was given full access to the case file and concluded the evidence pointed to a homicide and that the case should be reopened.
In 2025, a multidisciplinary team published a peer-reviewed study in the International Journal of Forensic Sciences concluding that its analysis of the publicly available evidence was inconsistent with a self-inflicted death and supported homicide.
We believe Kurt Cobain’s death deserves to be investigated as a potential homicide, without beginning from the preconceived assumption that it was self-inflicted. Whoever was responsible could be walking free to this day.
For those who want to examine the evidence for themselves, see our full investigation here: https://t.co/deWbbQ6onI
California’s coastal waters are the warmest ever recorded for April.
A severe to extreme marine heatwave is underway off the coasts of California and Baja California, locally reaching Category 5 intensity.
There is just a ton of warm water across the Pacific, with a strong to severe marine heatwave conditions extending from the Marshall Islands all the way to the California coastline.
Expect a very humid summer in Southern California, along with major impacts on marine ecosystems. With a strengthening, potentially Super El Niño expected by autumn, if there were ever a year for a hurricane to make landfall in SoCal, this would be it.
We’ll be watching closely for El Niño to rapidly emerge in the coming weeks.
"Weirdest rain I've ever seen." A woman in San Diego captured this as a line of rain moved toward her, causing a brief downpour before continuing on.
When a heavy rain shower is barely moving and winds are calm, the rain can come straight down, making for a stark line of rain on the ground. Normally, there is some wind that will carry some of the rain away from the storm, transitioning from a few drops into a heavy downpour.
Will have a million very important updates for you on the show tomorrow. So much of the new information coming in doesn't add up. This looks like a professional hit job.

Marvelous shots of the KSOX radar viewed from above on Wednesday evening in the Santa Ana mts. This radar and the KNKX radar near San Diego are maintained by our awesome technician staff who help keep these running year round 🙏

Dear @SecDef: Are you sure you even know where the Marines are coming from? Reports say they are from Twentynine Palms, not Camp Pendleton.
Do you know what Marines are trained to do? Kill the enemy. What are they supposed to do, shoot protesters?
You should resign.
Just to be clear, you are defending a Heil Hitler salute that was performed and repeated for emphasis and clarity.
People can officially stop listening to you as any sort of reputable source of information now. You work for them. Thank you for making that crystal clear to all.
MSNBC tells their viewers Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are coming after white people after recent comments regarding H-1B visas.
“They coming for you, they said y’all white and lazy.”
Michael Steele says Vivek is now telling white people, what white people have been telling black people for generations.
