Advice to new #SportsMedicine fellows.
@JCharnoffMD says: "Look ahead at the upcoming schedule. This will allow you to read about different conditions and procedures that you will be encountering."

Good luck Drs. Charnoff, Panchal, Matsuwaka and Panchal!
I have learned so much from @JonKirschnerMD this year. He has continued to challenge me and taught me invaluable lessons not only about spine and sports medicine, but about how to do the best for patients on a daily basis. Thank you so much for your leadership and mentorship!
When Dr. Jonathan Kirschner isn’t directing our sports and spine medicine fellowship he’s doing research, giving lectures to colleagues around the world, and using ultrasound to help diagnose and treat sports injuries. Let us help you get #backinthegame! https://t.co/10w4Ftb0Ul
Advice to new #SportsMedicine fellows. @RaghunandanMD quoted US Marine Corps, LT Gen Chesty Puller, "Hit hard, hit fast, hit often”
Fellowship yr goes fast! Prioritize what you want to learn and take full advantage of all your resources and faculty mentorship.

Thanks for the feature @HSSPhysiatry!
I made it a priority to learn the first names of every person that I would interact with on a daily basis: RNs, APNs, PAs, PTs, OTs, office/research staff, etc. It really made a difference throughout the year and everyone appreciated it!
We asked our outgoing fellows to give advice to new #SportsMedicine fellows. @JayPanchalMD says: Be kind and start fellowship out on the right foot by introducing yourself to all of the wonderful people at your institutions!
