@PhoPodcast just got round to listening to the promo you put out for Around the World in 90 minutes! Just subscribed on Spotify.
Great to hear from you both again - genuine nostalgia while I was out running.
Still smashing it up in Manchester ๐ช
@Scienceofsport Not sure if you've covered this already on the pod but this was just published in The Daily Telegraph in the UK. Would love to hear your thoughts. Seems like it cuts out the middleman that blood doping served in the 90's!

@marbh345 The majority of race organisers pay to have their races on TV. Cycling is mostly free to air in Europe meaning the TV rights are not prohibitive. This is cycling becoming popular enough that the broadcaster thinks they can up the price
Tadej Pogaฤar has just completed one of, if not the most impressive cycling season ever.

25 wins from 57 days of racing.
24 wins at WorldTour level
This year, he's racked up:
- 11 more wins than Ineos Grenadiers 30 riders combined
- More wins than 11 of the 18 WorldTour teams.
- Double the Grand Tour stage wins of the 2nd most successful team behind UAE (Alpecin).
However you look at the stats, they're astounding, and that's before you even consider the manner in which he's won most of those races.
We might never see another season like it.
On The Kingโs Speech: "the monarch delivers it in a neutral tone, to avoid any appearance of political support. This, I suppose, in contrast to his usual enthusiasm and fiery rhetorical flair." ๐

@irishpeloton Brilliantly written! Absolutely read it with your voice and mannerisms in my internal monologue. Funny and interesting... The article, not you ๐

@ThinkingAtheist That being said, there are rational reasons for living as though a god does exist. As much as there are rational arguments for rejecting the premise entirely and living without god or organised religion.
@ThinkingAtheist There is no certainty that they don't exist. But there is equally no compelling evidence to suggest they do either.
Making a statement in support of either side is ultimately based upon belief.
When it comes to what is true, we are all agnostic.
