Stuff you dream of as a coach..
Aux Gym. Morning Game. Leading Scorer = Out w/ Injury.
Group of dudes that treat it like the NBA Finals. Forehead to Forehead hyping each other up, COMPETING.
We weren’t even on a run… act like who you want to become. We’re learning how to win.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT. The Real Deal.
Guys who cant make decisions can’t be offensive engines. Develop them to fit a role archetype.
Hit home secondary decisions
Depending on where you meet a player, you can maybe salvage decision making but usually there could be a ceiling on it
Next up is @oneill_conn13 a skilled 6’8, stretch‑4 from D2 national tournament program Montevallo who can really shoot it and put it on the deck, adding size, skill, and versatility to our frontcourt. #Geauxpack 🐺🏀

If you’re a basketball player who played 4 seasons in 4 years and you’re being excluded from playing a 5th season, then feel free to reach out, even if you have already. Starting to mobilize. Likely won’t be a class action suit, though. [email protected].
Ways to rule yourself out of higher levels of college basketball…
Bad decision making specifically at the rim.
If you’re someone that puts your head down, drives into traffic then launch at the rim uncontrollably… you’re screaming it to coaches you don’t know how to play.
Appreciate the structure but it should be effective starting the next recruiting cycle.
Working with post grad kids over the past few years, you could royally screw a group of kids that have already been royally screwed by past rules.
Give everyone time to plan accordingly.
I've talked to a handful of coaches and the consensus is that these LATE offers by D1s to kids who haven't had D1 offers up until now is that they are mostly out of NIL/Rev Share and their final scholarship or two are what PWOs used to be.
