Wherein two verses (say OP and HxH for example) have 2 different power systems (Haki/DFs and Nen) you roughly correlate them so they can interact with eachother. This isn't always used but it's an example of verse-meshing.

The entire point of infinity is that it's not a physical barrier it's just space, Batman would have to develop a mechanism in his suit to either have an attack that doesn't cross distance or ignores techniques.
