@JaredGofff We’re on the same page, I agree with all of that. If I had to guess, I think JB was offered in the trade and now both parties are trying to make the best trade possible by finding the best 3rd/4th teams to get involved, but who knows I’m just speculating
Every report that has Giannis going to Boston comes with actual reasoning. Meanwhile, every report saying Giannis to Miami is some vague nothing statement like “we believe he’s going to the Heat” and that’s it, every single time
@celtics_spirits We need to trade Brown, A because that’s what makes our trade package better than Miami’s, and B because I don’t like how a Brown-Tatum-Giannis lineup would look, not enough spacing
@JaredGofff I’m just waiting to see one reporter or even fan tell me why it makes sense for Giannis to go to Miami over Boston. Besides weather and taxes, why would he want to go there? And why would the Bucks want Tyler Herro instead of Jaylen Brown?
@moraivan You think Brad Stevens runs the Celtics Twitter account? I agree with you on the last part though, Brown has to be in the trade to beat Miami’s offer
@JaredGofff Those guys have said something after “I think” or “I believe”, like I believe Giannis is going to Boston because Boston has the best trade package, or Giannis has the best chance to win there, etc. When it comes to Miami, all I see is “he’s going there” with no real explanation

At last: The #Eagles are trading star WR AJ Brown to the #Patriots, per The Insiders.
It’s a 2028 first-round draft pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick going to Philly, as Brown reunites with coach Mike Vrabel. One of the NFL’s longest runnings sagas ends with a splash.
