It's 95°F. I spent my limited energy installing my old AC unit in my living room so I wouldn't feel trapped in my bedroom where the new unit is. After install & wait, it turned on but didn't work.
I need AC due to disability, & being stuck in the bedroom is triggering depression

I felt ambushed and tricked into opening my door. It was unnecessary. It was deceitful. When guests stay at the @ResidenceInn they are there to rest & relax, and by doing so they become vulnerable. That is a heavy responsibility that I felt was taken advantage of this morning 4/4

What really bothers me is this: when the manager knocked on my door this morning, he called out "Housekeeping!" when he was actually a male manager with an accompanying male security guard, lying to a guest to get her to open her door. That's the part that upsets me. 3/4

I traveled Canada for 2 weeks on public transit & didn't get sick.
I traveled New England for 3 days in a rental car & caught Covid.
I wore masks in public spaces both times unless eating/drinking.
The difference was how many people around me wore theirs.
