@TrilbeeReviews The reason for that is that Disney didn't get the entire Show as part of the deal in order to make it easier for audiences to watch all of that back catalog. There was no "Whoniverse" deal, instead the Show got piecemealed yet again and that hurt it.
@EruthmaEruthmas@ChronoKatie From The Day of the Doctor:
"The Eleventh Doctor: I never forget a face.
Curator: I know you don't. And in years to come, you might find yourself...revisiting a few. But just...the old favorites, eh?"
@Torificallytori But this feels like a capitulation than anything. Didn't he get elected on a "I'm not scared to face off against the federal government!" ticket?! So why this deference to the Feds?!
@ChronoKatie And what will people do when the Show's Story catches up with the Valeyard Doctor and Curator Doctor "the long way round"? Those are still to come in the Doctor's future so better get used to it.
@batmanmarch This still doesn't absolve the BBC/Bad Wolf/RTD and Co. from the Disney Partnership and forcing Disney to put the Spin-Off out on D+ like they promised. They're still on the hook to do that. They still have that responsibility on their shoulders. That's on them.
