Hello! As mentioned here, this account will only be used for announcements from now on (i.e. a new version of a program releasing).
Progress updates and tech rambles will now only be on my account at https://t.co/5ZQZhsXUEY
Hello! This is an update to a post I made 2 months ago, where I reflected on my time with Twitter and wanting to rethink what social media I used.
The reason for me posting this update this two-fold: reflecting on the past 2 months and thinking about the future.
I did not previously post about Solid Shine UI 2.0 coming out, but now today we have version 2.0.1!
Version 2.0 has a lot of major changes, additions, and all kinds of adjustments. And now with version 2.0.1, it's even better!

Solid Shine UI 1.9.9 has been released! A lot of improvements to TabControl, and various smaller polishes and improvements all over the place!
Solid Shine UI 2.0 is planned for later this year.

Long story short, I'm changing domain registrars. The old one isn't bad, not at all, but the new one I think will give me the best potential for the future of my website.
I'm working through some changes behind the scenes with https://t.co/WcemW2AtyR and https://t.co/8r1NlWV2KY, so you might see my website be unavailable for certain points this week.
It has been fixed. Yaaaaay.
Turns out, ASP .NET Razor pages really want your layout files to be specifically in the /Pages/Shared folder. If it's *anywhere* else, it gets upset (sometimes in weird ways lol). Lesson learned, I guess!
What's new in this version?
- new controls backported from 2.0: SplitButton and FlatRepeatButton.
- rewritten how FontSelectDialog handles font weights, which solves the bug/crash from 1.9.7.
- changed the kinds of child items SelectPanel now accepts: now it's more flexible!
I have now released Solid Shine UI 1.9.8! This is my WPF control library adding various features, dialogs, and controls.

This version includes the TransformEditDialog for the PropertyList control, and also support for the new .NET 8 and also some older .NET Framework versions!

Solid Shine UI 2.0 is being delayed until early 2024. Ideally January, but it might slip into a later month. I need more time to deliver everything I have on my list for 2.0.
In the meantime, version 1.9.7 will be coming soon.

Hello, I'm sure this news is super exciting, but I'm updating the Terms of Use for my website, https://t.co/UJhtAPuAjQ.
You can view the new terms at https://t.co/fEGs3xpmDa . This will come into effect on October 20, 2023.
An update to the Terms of Use for my website https://t.co/WcemW2AtyR will be coming very soon! I just finished writing it.
The terms currently on there are incomplete and missing a lot of things I want to cover and discuss; the fundamentals will still be the same though!
Solid Shine UI 1.9.6 has been released! Not a big release, just a few small bug fixes.
From here on, now work will shift to version 2.0!

I've now posted a major update to the documentation for Solid Shine UI.
Thanks to the lovely ModularDoc project that I found, now the reference pages look much better! I've also added some more hand-typed articles, and there will be even more coming in the next few weeks.
Solid Shine UI 1.9.5 has been released! Including major improvements to the PropertyList control, and also some new features for FlatWindow, StringInputDialog, SelectableItem, and more!

I'll share some screenshots in the post announcing the actual release!

I like posting about my progress with this icon set from time to time because I am quite proud of my work here.
In some of my existing programs, you can already see them in use.
I'm looking forward to the day that I can release the whole set so everyone else can use them too!
At the end of March last year, I announced I was at around 240 icons in the icon set I'm building. I haven't touched this icon set in a long time since then, but I did a bit of work on it today (cleaning up older icons and making new ones); now we're at 248 icons.
I may have briefly mentioned my icon set in the past, but I've revisited a number of icons and such recently and... I don't know, every time I look over the big list of icons I've made, I always feel proud of it all.
Either way though, I'm very proud of my work. I put a lot of time into these icons and I'm very happy with the end results of what I have thus far! I have a few really old bad icons to fix, but beyond that, I think a lot of them look really good! Both in colored and monochrome!
