My kids and I built a Raspberry Pi as a computer science project. We run it as a #Bitcoin node, for fun and educational purposes.
Under your proposals, my kids are therefore classified as a ‘money service business’. This is absurd.

I write as a lawyer, and firmly believe that laws should be good, fair and just – and not absurd.

It’s crucial that lawmakers try to understand the nature of things they are trying to regulate, whether financial services, or #Bitcoin.

You cannot stop children flipping a coin at home, or building a single board computer for fun.

Remember, if you got enough support, you could pass a law banning gravity.

But people would still fall downstairs.

I had a sizable amount of money on FTX. Upon hearing the rumors, I split my funds - transferred BTC & ETH to a cold wallet, and USD to my bank account via ACH.

I received my BTC
I received my ETH
My USD? I did not receive... Don't trust the banking system.

And now #bitcoin is currently struggling to rise above the price level defined by the previous capitulation lows (8H chart).

The next few days will be key as to whether #bitcoin continues to drop more or finds some kind of bottom (even if it is only short-term)
