and to be clear i’m not excusing it. the point is that men cannot reconcile that coercion is rape because misogyny tells them that’s how you get a woman to sleep with you, and a lot of men don’t want to admit that they’ve done this with women they’ve dated
the reason men don’t view coercion as rape is because they genuinely don’t see it as wrong. so much of male sexuality is informed by rape culture that coercion is seen as a normal part of courting a woman. it’s why women who willingly sleep with men are sluts, whores, etc.
A reminder that pasteurization is the process that gently heats milk for….checks notes…15 seconds to…checks notes again…kill pathogens while retaining nutritional value and flavor.
men will argue about fake rape statistics and genuinely be like “my friend has been falsely accused 7 times” as proof that women are constantly lying about being raped instead of asking why every woman their friend has come in contact with has accused him of rape
The more you learn about child abuse, the more you begin to realize that unconditional love is expected from children toward their parents, not the other way around. And it was never the other way around.
I’ve always noticed when shotos fights he takes hits like A champ
And ofc it’s cool until you know why he can take hits like that…
Enji constantly abusing him to the point were he can be use to being hit is crazy and not normal
His body conditioned to take hits like that😞
Autistic person: “I wish they made human kibble”
Non-autistic person who thinks they’re supportive: “Umm this is so dehumanizing to people with autism and frankly you seem like a self-diagnosed attention seeker, delete this”
Meanwhile, other autistic people: “Real!!!!”
@sleepjeans Ik everyone does Bakugo as a bottom but I see him as a stone top who’s open to bottoming but only if beat in a fight/forced into submission. Not a pride thing so much as another way to express his aggressive nature and competitive spirit
If you grew up hearing shit like "negativity and unhappiness are contagious surround yourself with happy and optimistic people" you kinda start thinking you're a disease
ptsd: something terrible happened to you.
complex ptsd: something terrible WAS your entire environment and you had to just live in it. there was no escape.
