Arozarena calls time and steps out.

Smart play, because Yesavage feeds off the crowd’s emotion.

On the mound, Yesavage’s right foot remains firmly engaged with the rubber — as if to say, ‘I’m not going to play your game.’

He does not move. At all. But does the ploy disrupt Yesavage’s rhythm? Sure seems that way.
