@EZ_Wrestling 197 and heavyweight are already the shallowest, worst weights (by far) in wrestling and 20% of your starters…. Zero reason to add anything else up there.
@gkketch Or maybe because collective bargaining is a legal process between employer and employees— and the only employees on a FB team are the staff #dumbass
@RossDellenger Fun fact: the ncaa invented then implemented the word “student-athlete” so it didn’t have to pay the window of a player (who died on the field) seeking workmans comp.
@NickyPerkss Who cares. Can’t even expect CFB fans to be impartial when it comes to a guy who had his foot knee deep in their asses for a decade and a half. 🐐
@John5tork You can understand and win in a system, while also thinking that system is unsustainable or unhealthy. They are not mutually exclusive. I know many CFB fans pea brains can not comprehend that, though.
@GTTongue@chrisfallica The bottom three G5 conferences were 2-56 vs P4s + ND. Their two wins were over Virginia Tech (3-9) and WVU (4-8). All of their champs were beaten by average teams. G5 is top-heavy just like the P4. The American is alright, and a few good teams spread among all the other leagues.
@homerdance@ralphDrussoATH My numbers are with bowls, but in just the regular season the SEC went 52-34 (ND included as P4). Once again, easily the best in CFB.
‘25: 12-6
‘24: 13-7
‘23: 8-9
‘22: 10-6
‘21: 9-6
@BuckeyeDog22@DarealMVP2437 Of the 50 most watched regular season games 24 were intra-conference games. 21 were SEC. Three were B1G. Zero from the ACC. Zero from B12. If a normal fan is throwing on college football they are watching they are most likely watching the SEC, like it or not.
@homerdance@ralphDrussoATH They are 72-57 in that span, easily the best in football. B1G is 63-57. One look and anyone with a brain knows your google ai numbers are wrong. They obviously play more than ~18 OOCs vs P4s per season. But don’t let the truth get in the way of a good narrative!
@TulaneHype@TomFornelli You do realize they can’t force the B1G or SEC to do anything right? If everyone else agreed to pool rights except the B1G and SEC— they would, but you wouldn’t get *their* rights. You’d just have the ACC, B12, and a bunch of G6 games pooled together.
@BryanGoldston@stanwinkler I don’t think anyone believes TTU didn’t have a great year. They did. Im only saying the league is simply, top to bottom, a tier below the SEC and B1G. I think TTU destroying everyone only exemplifies that even more.
