I often think about the episode of the Blacklist where a woman doctor kidnapped anti-abortion male politicians and implanted a fetus into them. They either had to have the child or get an abortion, and it was one of the most fascinating and vindicating stories to watch.
In about 3 months from now, we are going to find out that the private equity firm that owns this brand of black label pineapples knew their product was approaching its expiration date and would be removed from Costco’s shelves.
So, in order to avoid the losses, they created a viral, guerilla marketing campaign to go into the ghettos across the US and popularize Kool Aid Pineapples as a way to sell their rapidly expiring product.
Netflix will make a movie about it next year.
It will be called Pineapple Hustle.
Please do not date people you are not genuinely attracted to. And when I say attraction, I don’t mean only physical attraction. I mean emotional attraction, mental attraction, compatibility, admiration, the way they make you feel, the way you naturally enjoy their presence and connect with them.
Because if you date someone mainly to fill a void, escape loneliness, seek validation, or temporarily soothe emotional emptiness, there’s a high chance that once those feelings fade, the relationship starts feeling forced. You begin to lose patience easily, act distant, get irritated over little things, avoid communication, or subconsciously search for what’s missing elsewhere.
A lot of people don’t realize that attraction is what helps sustain effort, curiosity, emotional connection, and intentionality long term. Without it, relationships can slowly start feeling like obligations instead of something you genuinely want to nurture.
And honestly, it’s unfair to both people involved. The other person deserves to be loved fully and genuinely, not tolerated because you were afraid to be alone at the time.
"If you were stuck in the woods, would you rather find yourself alone with a man or a bear?" Women immediately and without hesitation: A bear.
Men bitching about women picking the bear: you would not pick a fucking bear you liar.
A quote I heard someone (itzkenny via TikTok) say in response to these type of men: "This is a hypothetical question and you still won't take no for an answer."
