I haven't been very dedicated this season, but let's do one of these for the last road trip of the year. Utah flew to Cali this morning/afternoon for a sunny day in LA prior to the finale.
Jazz-Lakers Sunday.
@danclayt0n Nope, they are spending the night in Sactown, then flying straight to Minneapolis tomorrow.
I expected the same thing you did because it would give them two nights in their own beds, but that's what they're doing. Team bonding with a day in Minnesota, I guess.
The Jazz fly to Sacramento tonight, although their flight has been pushed back. Late arrival in California's capital, but they'll be there far earlier than the Kings, who play tomorrow in L.A.
Jazz-Kings tank off Sunday night, with the home team at a rest disadvantage.
The Kings just wrapped up an unexpected victory over the Clippers at 10:05 PDT. They will fly home, landing in roughly 3 hours, then face the Jazz on the B2B tomorrow. All starters played at least 30, most 35-36. I wonder how hard they'll go vs. Utah.
Jazz-Kings Sunday night!
There are playoff races. There are tank races. Tonight, there's a race to Utah!
The Jazz depart Milwaukee & the Warriors depart Oklahoma City, with both teams expected to arrive SLC in 3-4 hours. Both teams lost on the court, one will lose in the sky!
Warriors-Jazz Monday night!

Warriors-Jazz Monday night!
The Utah Jazz have returned home following a five-game road trip. The team will play two games at home before the All-Star break, while new members of the club begin to settle into their new city.
The Jazz have departed Salt Lake to start a 10 day, 9 night, 5 game road trip. First stop: the Great White North, where they'll face the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
The Brooklyn Nets are leaving the court at 9:30 MST after a close loss in Denver. They'll depart in about 2 hours for Salt Lake, where they'll face the Jazz tomorrow in a game that could eventually impact lottery and draft order.
Nets-Jazz Friday night!
The Jazz arrived in Dallas just after 1:00 a.m., following last night's close loss to the Chicago Bulls.
Utah will be without Lauri Markkanen, while Dallas will be missing several key players. The Mavs also played last night, but it's a travel-free, home-home B2B for them.
The Jazz left town about an hour and a half after last night's victory, but with the distance & time zone change, arrived very late. This will be a rough B2B...definitely in scheduled loss territory, which doesn't always guarantee a loss.
The Detroit Pistons flew into Salt Lake last night, so they're spending Christmas Eve & Day in Utah before playing the Jazz Friday night.
Given a choice between free days in Sacramento & SLC--neither one probably an NBA player's top choice--they picked the Wasatch Front.
It's been a minute since I've done one of these. The Jazz loss to Denver just ended at 9:20 local time.
They'll catch a short flight home in a little less than 2 hours, then face the Grizzlies in the Delta Center tomorrow night.
The Jazz spent last night in Phoenix, then flew East to Charlotte today.
The Hornets don't travel, but they are playing a weekend B2B set, hosting the Timberwolves tonight, followed by Utah on Sunday.
The Utah Jazz tipped off the first extended road trip of the year with a short flight to the Valley of the Sun. They departed fairly early for such a short flight, arriving in Phoenix early enough to enjoy today's 89° temps. No jacket required!
Jazz-Suns Friday night.
I didn't even think about this last night, but the Jazz took the short hop from Houston to San Antonio after the loss to the Rockets.
Jazz @ Spurs Friday in the Alamo City.
The Jazz flew home last night following the loss in Sacramento, and will stay put for nearly a full week before returning to the friendly skies next Sunday.
The Jazz had taken advantage of 2 days off & geography, coming home between Tuesday's game in OKC & tonight's in Portland. Instead of a 3-game trip with 6 hotel nights, they split it, requiring only 4 overnight stays on the road.
Jazz-Blazers tonight.
