Quantum systems can be insanely fragile. Heat, vibration, EM noise, even cosmic rays can wreck a calculation.
Fixing those errors demands massive classical compute.
Ironically, in tomorrow’s fault-tolerant quantum computers, the biggest workload might not be the quantum algorithm… but the classical infrastructure desperately keeping the quantum state alive. 🙂
