Today, Doug Ford closed the legislature until October 27. He can't get out of here fast enough.
We fought every day for solutions to make life easier and more affordable: scrap the tax on food, ban surveillance pricing and enforce competition to lower prices. We fought to Save OSAP, introduced a Youth Summer Jobs program, and successfully pushed for safer highways in the North.
Meanwhile, Doug Ford bought himself a $30 million jet, changed the law to hide his phone records, rushed through selling off Toronto's waterfront to Wall Street, and voted down our affordability measures.
This province deserves better. And I won't stop fighting until we get it.
A 102-day summer vacation after sitting for only 29 days this year. If you were trying to avoid questions about your own corruption, this is what you'd do.
"No one can question my work ethic" said Premier Doug Ford, as his government begins an extended 5-month summer break.
Ford argues his schedule is jam-packed over the coming months: "we're going full steam, rather than sitting here arguing with each other." Watch:
The Ford government confirmed we won’t be back at Queen’s Park for 102 days.
While I’m excited to spend the summer in Nepean meeting with residents, businesses, and community groups, Ontarians deserve a government that’s willing to show up and do its job.
After calling a snap election to “Protect Ontario,” it’s hard to understand why this government is taking 5 months off while families continue to struggle with the cost of living, health care, and housing. #onpoli

Doug Ford took a 4 month break and came back just long enough to ram through legislation to hide his phone records and take over the Toronto Islands before hiding for another 5 months.
Ontario, Harmon Brampton announced its closure two days after it didn't win the $140 million facade subcontract for Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital after MAGA Ford's regime awarded $140M subcontract to U.S. company as 700,000 Ontarians were unemployed.
Doug Ford mocked students for taking “basket-weaving courses” and blowing OSAP money on “luxury watches and colognes.”
A new report shows less than 1% of OSAP funds were misused.
Less. Than. 1%.
He invented a crisis to cut student aid – then pulled $30 million from people’s pockets to buy himself a luxury private jet.
I’ll keep fighting this government until the cuts to OSAP are reversed.
Interesting how around the same time this government was announcing cuts to OSAP, they were also making installment payments on a luxury private jet for Doug Ford.
Students were told to tighten their belts while this government spent taxpayer money like it was nothing. #onpoli
people rightfully trashed the government over their $30,000,000 private jet purchase - now, a personal friend of the premier could have just been paid as much as $500,000,000 by metrolinx as a ‘settlement’ over something they didn’t even own - people should be angry
An alleged $500 million settlement between Carmine Nigro and Metrolynx for "air rights" he allegedly didn't own and Caroline Mulroney hiding Maga Ford's $30 million gravy plane receipts could sink Maga Ford's regime to all time low.
Have I got this right-Ford's close friend's co. sued Metrolinx(gov) for $500M for "air rights" on prop it didn't own. Metrolinx had a solid case to deny the suit, but Ford-friendly Metrolinx board decided to settle for undisclosed millions instead of winning & paying $0.

Therme said that Aecon was a development partner & also said they owned/operated 6 international spas - evidence seems contrary in both cases... Is this not fraud!?! Contract should be null/void. https://t.co/oz6o9HvXZ8
This whole Therme project doesn’t exist.
It’s PC party front that now own our waterfront.
NY Times wrote a full page about the corruption and how bad it really is 🤷
People should be jailed for what’s happening in Ontario Place.
It’s complete fraud.
Too bad we didn’t have 👮♀️
Doug Ford’s government has refused to answer our questions about how much taxpayer money Metrolinx paid a development group tied to a close friend of the premier.
The company had asked for $500M. The transportation minister said it's a private settlement https://t.co/ywb9dTnQVZ
