Im somewhat confused. I feel like this will just limit use of opus for conversations but it can still spawn work to be done using the max Claude account. Even if they try to limit that use case th agents can just use browser use skill to just log into Claude code on a browser and use it like a human for tasks. I canโt see how they can stop usage.
@iamjesserichard@KyleIvins I honestly feel like it would-be more like the bus where you can just walk into it easily. One door for everyone on each side or just one door on the back. Seats that spin around. Prob still has a steering wheel if itโs coming out in the next 3 years.
Tom, these prompts are solid but you're underselling the tool. Try running these through Perplexity Computer instead of Claude. It doesn't just generate answers from training data, it actually browses SEC filings, Reddit threads, G2 reviews, and pricing pages in real time. We built structured XML prompts that turned it into a full equity research analyst. One prompt produced a 10-page competitive analysis with scoring matrices that would take a human analyst a week. The difference: Claude imagines what the data might say. Perplexity Computer goes and looks.
@AmericaPapaBear Youโre missing one thing: every member of Congress should make $1M after tax. It does two things: makes the seats truly competitive so the best people want to run, and makes reforms like term limits and no stock trading something theyโd actually vote for
According to @grok:
The video's claim of cholesterol guidelines dropping from 300 in 1960 to 200 oversimplifies history, as formal blood cholesterol targets began in the 1980s with levels under 200 mg/dL considered desirable.๐ท
Lowering guidelines in 2013 expanded statin eligibility by about 13 million Americans, not 50 million per change as stated.๐ท
Statins in primary prevention prevent around 10 heart attacks per 1,000 patients over five years in moderate-risk groups, higher than the one claimed without a time frame.๐ท
Actual muscle pain from statins affects about 1% to 5% beyond placebo rates, not up to 29% severe cases as alleged.๐ท
Statins raise diabetes risk by 10% to 46% relatively, equating to small absolute increases like 0.2% per year, not 9% developing the condition.๐ท
Higher cholesterol in those over 60 correlates with longer life in multiple studies, supporting that specific point amid the cholesterol hypothesis debate from the 1950s.๐ท
The 2004 guideline update panel had eight of nine members with pharma ties, fueling conflict-of-interest controversies.๐ท
Lipitor generated over $160 billion in lifetime sales, exceeding the $125 billion figure cited.๐ท
Around 40 to 90 million Americans use statins, aligning roughly with the 40 million mentioned.๐ท
Global statins market is about $16 billion annually, close to the $20 billion claimed.๐ท
Medical schools provide an average of 19 hours of nutrition education, not four as stated, though pharmacology receives far more emphasis.๐ท
The content mixes facts with exaggerations on side effects and benefits, fitting into ongoing debates over the lipid hypothesis and statin overprescription pushed by critics since the 1970s.๐ท
This selective presentation qualifies as misinformation by misleading on statin risks versus evidence-based cardiovascular prevention.
