Our refrigerator just died... again. This is our second refrigerator in ten years. It was a Whirlpool, a "plain Jane" model with no bells, no whistles, and no fancy screens. We bought it for its simplicity, thinking it would be the one thing in our house that just worked.

It lasted five years and one month, exactly thirty days past the warranty.

The repairman’s verdict? A dead compressor. But the real diagnosis... it was Built to Break.

Under the guise of "green" regulations and "energy efficiency," we’ve traded tanks that lasted thirty years for plastic-heavy shells that barely last five.

We are forced to pay a premium for "high-efficiency" tech that saves ten cents a month on electricity, only to be told to throw the whole $1,500 + unit into a landfill when a single internal component fails.

It’s a racket. The government mandates the specs, the manufacturers cut the quality, and the consumer is left holding a bag of spoiled milk. We don’t own appliances anymore; we just lease them from the scrap yard.

So many are missing the plot with The SAVE ACT.

Everyone on the left screaming, “We already require IDs!” is missing the point.

Everyone on the right pointing out the list of where ID (not citizenship) is required, is missing the point.

The SAVE ACT is requiring proof of citizenship — not just presenting ID.

Driver’s Licenses/Government issued ID’s, do NOT necessarily prove citizenship. Even a REAL ID doesn’t prove citizenship, it just proves you’re here legally (in theory), even though it requires the same documentation.

Someone here on a visa, can get a drivers license. Even illegals can obtain driver’s licenses (hello California, Washington, Arizona..to name a few…). Requiring ID isn’t enough.

It’s not just about IDs, it’s about citizenship, and securing our elections.

Passports are given from the country you have citizenship from.

Birth certificates show what country you were born in.

Naturalization paperwork proves you’ve obtained citizenship in the United States.

Please understand the argument.

The left is saying proving this, is a “poll tax” but is somehow quiet on the litany and steps required to obtain a fire arm.

There are government agencies that will assist those who find the process of obtaining documents “too hard” or a financial hardship. There are even special provisions for homeless, former foster youth, and veterans where the fees will be waived.

Programs like workforce centers or re-entry services sometimes cover costs. Homeless shelters have liaisons that can assist.

Marriage Certificates and Divorce decrees will suffice for name changes — both of which are issued upon being married, or divorced (and if you were irresponsible and lost them, skip your Starbucks for a few days to cover the fees). If you’re the .0002% who’s lost them in a natural disaster, government programs exist to help replace them.

Again, this isn’t just about ID, but proving you’re a citizen in this country.

Ps: For the peanut gallery who’s screaming that non-citizens voting is a non-issue — One American vote that is cancelled out, is too many, and that’s the REAL disenfranchisement.

Some Amendments to the Constitution turn out to be mistakes - and later have to be overturned.

Example: The 18th Amendment instituted Prohibition, but was overturned by the 21st Amendment.

The 17th Amendment established the direct election of U.S. senators by popular vote (replacing the original system where state legislatures chose them).

This has led to significant increases in Corruption, with Senators using their 6 yr long terms to collect millions from donors, instead of being answerable to their individual states and state legislatures.

Time to REPEAL the 17th Amendment!!!

So I’ve been thinking about trans mass shooters, and I think it very clear that it isn’t transphobia that pushes trans kids to kill. It’s the pain and anger and the cognitive dissonance that come from living a lie.

These kids know, deep down, that identifying as the opposite sex is no more valid than identifying as an animal, or as someone from another planet. They know, even if not consciously, that it’s all pretend.

Knowing that, they cannot help but be aware that everyone in their life who affirms them is lying through their teeth, whether they admit that consciously or not. Parents, teachers, counselors — everyone in authority is reinforcing a charade. They’re all lying — and that leaves the kid with no firm foundation upon which to build a genuine identity. It’s all pretense, based on whatever stereotypes these kids have picked up about the opposite sex, and that leads to feelings of instability and insecurity. They can’t even trust their own parents to tell them the truth — so how can they trust anyone else?

Moreover, these kids are told over and over again that transition will cure all of their mental distress, and because of the culture in trans spaces, they feel compelled to pretend that this is so. That causes a lot of repressed anger and pain they feel unable to express verbally, and whereas girls who are angry and depressed at this level are more likely to self-harm (although there are exceptions), boys — as we continue to see — tend to lash out instead.

You cannot surround a child with liars and expect them to grow up as a healthy and rational member of society. Affirming parents are lying parents, and “trans” kids know that. It severs the bonds between parent and child, leaving the child unable to trust their authority figures. Their parents, teachers, etc. will look them in the face and lie to protect them from the truth — but that’s not healthy, and it’s not how you raise functional children.

Moreover, forcing a child to make life-altering medical decisions at an age where they are incapable of fully understanding what they’re about to do to themselves is a form of neglect. It puts “trans” kids in an unnatural position, in which the parents push the child to make life-altering choices that no child should be forced to even consider.

Instead of being protected, the “trans” child is forced into an adult role, and required to make decisions that will have long term consequences for their health and mental wellbeing, years before they’re even old enough to decide to get their ears pierced on their own. Additionally, they’re expected to make these decisions while living in a carefully curated fantasy world in which everyone they should be able to trust is instead lying to them about the very basis of who they are — but the fantasy is imperfect, and no matter how elaborate, no matter how affirming, it IS a fantasy — and fantasies don’t last.

The kid is trapped between his idealized self and his true self, unable to achieve the former, but forced to pretend he has, even as the existence of the latter becomes harder to ignore. The dissonance between fantasy and reality increases as he ages, and the anger at his inability to reconcile the two eventually erupts into violence.

I began to speak well enough for others outside my immediate family to understand me when I was 11... but it was still not perfect. I was forbidden to use sign language at home and at school.

On our bus route of 18 kids, a new kid joined us. He appeared to be a little older than me- and he was very friendly. He plopped down by me. I still remember smelling his Dial soap scent. He had curly sandy hair and a button nose just like Bill Clinton's. He started talking to me, and I remember my face turning into a deep shade of red. I explained that I was deaf and could not understand him. I had to read his lips. He jumped to the seat across and turned to look at me. So I could see his lips. I struggled to understand him. Every day that week he would sit across from me with a goofy smile and tried to talked to me. I finally told him, blurted out really, that I'm sorry...but I won't make a good friend. I don't understand people.

I asked Mama about him. "Oh, yeah... he's one of the fosters." "What's a faw...faw er?" "Foster kids live with people who take care of them while their families work through hard things." My heart broke for him. I decided I would make more of an effort to be a friend. Bending the rules, just a little, we could write back and forth. Mama didn't like that because the AVT method discourages any communication mode that is not primarily speech. Not even writing! When he got on the bus, I handed him a notebook and pencil. He opened it, and there I had written, "Good morning!" He slowly smiled, and pulled out a brown book. The Joy of Signing. He signed, "Thank You Morning." (He intended to say Good). I sadly explained to him that I was not allowed to sign. He wrote, "It will be our secret bus language!" He handed me the book with the pages opened and pointed to one picture. I looked at him as he signed, "Friends."

Oh, how I looked forward to our bus rides, him across the aisle, as we used our "secret bus language." For that entire day, he would be the only person I could truly communicate with at ease. I cherished each day. So much.

A few weeks later, out of the blue, he stopped coming. I never saw him again. I still have his Joy of Signing book. And there's a page that is still earmarked.

Did you know I was in med school at one time. I was doing well. One afternoon at a grocery store, my desire to become a doctor changed.

I noticed a little girl pointing to an apple and gesturing to her mother. Her mother dismissively nodded and kept going. The girl shook her determined face and tapped on her mother’s elbow. She was trying to tell her something that was important to her.

It hit me that she was deaf.

I walked over to her and signed, “Oh! The red apple doesn’t belong in the bin with the green apples?” The girl instantly smiled and nodded! “Apple in wrong place (bin)!” “You’re right!”

The mother watched us for a couple of minutes then said, “We are encouraging her to learn to talk. Signing limits her.” She didn’t realize *I* was deaf just like her daughter.

I told her I was going to tell her what I wish someone had told my own mother years ago.

After shopping I sat in my car for awhile. I heard God’s calling. It was as real as being pinched by someone. It was loud and clear.

I dropped out of med school. I became a teacher of deaf children.

A few years later I met them again. She sat in a desk in my classroom.

We are over the target. We’ve gotten to the heart of progressive manipulation. We looked at their lies straight in the face:

- Abortion is healthcare

- No human being is illegal

We’re not buying it anymore. They aren’t going to exploit compassion to support policies that are bad for our families and the country. We will no longer allow emotion to paralyze our thinking.
