@IFrostBolt This is a huge exaggeration. Even players who are “ahead” will be losing those items, and the trace status will filter them out and the economy will re balance itself. Furthermore, they didn’t touch boss loot, just the free cert chests around the map that were ez free loot.

@luigistyle_ @3jlowes Have to factor in reduced cd on abilities that they’re going for too. Players *should* have to shoot their guns now instead of just spamming abilities. If we can just keep spamming abilities and special weapons tho? idk what the point of primaries is going to 2 be still.

I've seen (& signed) the petition going around. But I think the much more powerful response if you're hoping for some kind of future for the franchise is:
Log on the week of June 9th.

Dont' get me wrong, Sony execs aren't gonna fall to their knees in tears and insta-green-light D3 or anything. But seeing SO many players out there logging on to give one last hurrah to the franchise that meant so much to them - it'll speak volumes in its own way.

At the very least, we'll have one more window of fun enjoying the last batch of new content in a game that meant so much to us. At best, it'll show how passionate the community still is, and just how badly so many of us want SOME kind of future for this franchise, no matter how long it might take to build.

I'll see you out there in June. It's gonna be one hell of a ride.

"Bungie killed Destiny for Marathon" has never made sense to me because some of the game's best periods occurred when Marathon was in active development. That argument only works if you're specifically talking about Crucible.
