Okay lemme put this into simple terms you would understand. You and a friend win a million dollars and decide to split it and use all the money to support your family to give them free food for as long as possible.

Your friend Norway has a total extended family of 4 including them and everyone gets $125000 to get them ahead for many years. Everyone is thankful and happy for you.

Meanwhile you (America) has an extended family of 244 so everyone gets only $2000.

Think about that and add on the many other factors on why the same systems that work in a tiny country like Norway won't work in the USA and eventually you'll realize maybe they have a point after all.

It's not even about the fact that it's starring Faye as the MC, its the execution that makes it seem super low effort and fanfiction-y for me.
- Shoehorned a new realm of the afterlife that has never once been mentioned in previous games specifically for dead gods that has no relevance in mythology and serves only as a purpose to give her a place to be a protagonist, which also cheapens the previous stories because as they were trying to fulfill her last wish and pray for her to pass on and be at peace, apparently it turns out the whole time she was fighting for her life in super hell.
- Quirky sarcastic dialogue everywhere throughout the trailer that sounds straight out of Forspoken, she sounded wise and serious the times we heard her speak in the other games, now all of a sudden she sounds like a sarcastic teen. "You're...a talking cube??" "Afterlife of the gods? Great..." "I'm not your boss, Frank. 🥴" *queue laughtrack*
- She needs assistance from a magical talking cube (wtf) and a powerful sentient sword/ribbon in order to escape and fight back against anything after being built up in lore as being extremely capable and able to evenly match Kratos.
- Art direction is all over the place. They can't seem to decide if this world she woke up in is whimsical and faerie-core or gritty hellscape.
