The worst part is the dozens of morons who support this. People who really don’t care about having nice neighbourhoods in the city. They prefer 30 uber eats drivers packed in a single family home footprint - 10 bikes on the front lawn, garbage, rats, filth and yes, plummeting prices for every house in their vicinity. This isn’t new - 6-plexes will just be worse. I have so many friends whose nice streets have been destroyed by the influx of rooming house style properties. This is not the solution to the housing crisis, just a bandaid for a plethora of bad government policies that brought us here. Anyone who builds a 6-plex on a single-family lot is not a "developer", they are a slumlord...

Trump is popular because so much of this BS gets shared this is 100% untrue. Those tariffs are reciprocal meaning we charge each other the same amount and they only happen when very high quotas are breached. In 2024 we didn’t hit 50% of the quota so nothing was charged to either countries goods.
