How do you make a superhero suit look like it has a galaxy inside its chest? A flat-pack LED system and some clever VFX.
This week, go behind the scenes of 2017’s Saban’s #PowerRangers, directed by Dean Israelite with costume design by Kelli Jones.
Zack Snyder says "I would never say there is no way" when asked about making two more "Justice League" movies as originally planned.
“I was on the ride that created ‘Justice League,’ and if you were in my shoes there were numerous times, dark times, when there was no chance that there will ever be my version of it. It will never exist. It can’t… cost, politics, everything stood against. And yet it exists. The fans should never forget they did that. They also raised a ton of money for suicide prevention. They did a lot of good. They catch a lot of flak for being toxic or whatever, but they literally saved human lives. You can go f*ck yourselves if that’s what you think." (via "Happy Sad Confused")

@IkerTorterra Lex would have to have superhuman abilities in order to watch a fight, anticipate what Superman will/is doing, then make a VERBAL command for the clone to follow in real time. Superman is so fast he saved a squirrel but couldn't use his super hearing to hear the commands?
@EternityInGamin@IkerTorterra MOS Superman is just a plain brawler because Clark is just a regular guy with no training. Eventually I would see Batman training him post JL so he'd be pretty scary by the time he confronts Darkseid.
@IkerTorterra Man of Steel Superman fought against TRAINED and GENETICALLY BRED Kryptonians who have spent their entire existence to learn Kryptonian warfare and martial arts. But sure, fighting a clone who's taking commands from a HUMAN is faster than keeping up with the FLASH.
Based on box office data—Gunn's Superman grossed ~$585M worldwide, underperforming Man of Steel's $670M and Justice League's $661M—coupled with Snyder's dedicated fanbase and the acclaim for his Justice League cut, I believe Zack Snyder should be granted the chance to continue his DC universe. His epic style better differentiates DC from Marvel.
Calling Cavill’s #Superman 'poorly written' completely misses the point. Zack Snyder didn’t give us a cartoonish boy scout—he gave us a deep, conflicted, god-like figure struggling with his place in the world. That’s not poor writing, that’s bold storytelling.
"You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you. They will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun, Kal. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders.” -Jor-El #SupermanDay
It’s been 4 years. Still humbled by the fact that this exists at all. Big thanks to all of you that made it happen. If you have a spare 4 hours, go give it a watch on @StreamOnMax.
