At around 9:20 a.m. on September 22, 2026, this scene unfolded outside the Chinese Consulate in Toronto. A man wearing a jacket with a Chinese national flag patch on his chest vandalized a Falun Gong banner and aggressively threatened Falun Gong practitioners, saying:
“This is Chinese territory… Anti-Secession Law… I’ll shoot you. I’ll throw you to your death—believe me?”
BTW, the sidewalk outside the Chinese Consulate is a public area on Canadian territory. Anyone in Canada has the right to peacefully express their views. Since when did it become Chinese territory?
Now that the alleged attacker’s face has been clearly captured on video, Toronto Police should use facial comparison and other lawful investigative methods to identify and arrest him. The personal safety and property of Falun Gong practitioners in Canada must be protected.
