@WineFolly Not like most non-alcoholic beers! And that's because of the way they're made; with beers from malt, hops, yeast and water, it's easy to remove the alcohol without affecting the taste! For wine, the technique still need improvement because wine without alcohol becomes grape juice
@WineFolly This meal features a sauce made with a blend of crushed tomatoes, roasted red peppers, Moroccan spices ras el hanout and herbs parsley and cilantro; so red wine is a must: I'd go with a Spain Duero Valley Frontaura Aponte Toro 2019! Chers! 🍷
@WineFolly Red sauce=red wine
Shrimps=White wine
Spaghetti sauce and pasta=red wine
Spaghettis in red sauce with shrimps,
I'd go with either a nice valpolicella or light fruity body red pinot noir, or even a young "Beaujolais nouveau"! 🍷 😉 😁
@WineFolly Disagree! Any Sommelier would say, it really depends on how the open bottle is kept! Clients ordering wine by the glass should ask to see the bottle, ask how it is recapped and store!🤓
I often enjoy a good bottle for a few nights but always keep the vacuum bottle in the cellar!
@WineFolly Margherita pizza: tomato sauce, Buffala cheese and basilic; no meat so wine doesn't need to be strong, earthy rather it should be fruity, with flavors of cherry, berries, not too high in alcohol; I'd go with italian pinot, a nice Ambro Nero Provincia di Pavia!🍷 Buon appetito!😉
