It was an honor to visit the White House, and participate in the White House State Leadership Day Conference. It has been an informative briefing with senior White House staff, and even included a brief, unexpected presentation by our President.
Thanks to the Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce for organizing today’s Leadership Ridgecrest event. It was a great opportunity to engage the future leaders in East Kern County.

Just finished a great meeting at the Department of Education with Secretary DeVos. We discussed ideas to highlight innovative charter & public school programs that have demonstrated success at educating students, and engaging those students in the surrounding community.
