Just received a small bit of cautious good news in the post-PhD wilderness: The Noise of Piracy, 1690–1705 has gone to formal publisher review!
Nothing agreed or signed yet, but after years of archives, thesis-writing, and revisions, it still feels like progress.
Any #twitterstorians out there able to help me date this document? It was found in a collection of EIC correspondence in 1694 but the '3d/32 year of the King's reign' is throwing me off, because I presume that is referring to Aurangzeb #history
