These conservative, sexiest, and racist ads are getting out of hand on here.
I enjoy being on this app still, but is it worth it if I have to scroll past a racist caricature of VP Harris just to see what my friends are up to? & I can’t select “not interested” without paying…
#LSU student government has unanimously passed a resolution calling for the immediate halt of the use of live tigers at football games. This is related to @LAGovJeffLandry bringing a live tiger, who was not Mike, to the Alabama game, which was a blowout loss #lalege#lagov
I usually only add moringa to smoothies or bowls, but I decided to try it in my coffee.
We have a hit, folks. So delicious. It’s kinda giving matcha latte.
I don’t know where the dance world would be without Judith Jamison. Alvin Ailey made “Cry” specially for her & all Black Women. Her legacy & what she brought to the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater as a dancer & director changed culture as we know it.
If our raggedy power hungry governor can force the hand of the university so easily I have concern not only for the tiger, but especially for my friends and family who attend & work there as well.
The last thing that I’m going to say about the tiger situation is this…
I hope that this whole spectacle interferes with LSUs ability to get a tiger in the future after our current Mike. Sad but true.
One thing that I’ve learned from all of this is that the decision to cease the tradition was also a big part of the vetting process to be recognized as a humane sanctuary.
The fact that the gov can and did ignore that is crazy.
The reason there even is a Mike VII is because the school committed to humane treatment. Landry's stunt calls the reliability of that commitment into question. It makes it less likely there will ever be a Mike VIII
@ByPiperHutch@LAGovJeffLandry@la_surgeon Tradition isn’t an excuse to go backwards and do something inhumane and unnecessary.
Also like…he didn’t even go to LSU?! Go take a box of cayenne peppers to UL and leave us the hell alone 😒.
