@julianblacks_ In 2007 my employer gave me flexible WFH when my dad was critically ill. It saved my job. Did that until he died in 2010. It doesn’t take much for an employer to have empathy for an employee. I will always be grateful for her kindness.

@KeruboSk I worked in mortgage 50 years. This is a huge red flag. This will be your homestead. Get your name on the deed. Also check the homestead laws in your state. DP $ is not the issue. It’s about trust and control. Never buy property until you are married.
