I can’t put into words how uncomfortable this scene is, the mizi with men makes me sick (btw her with messy and curly hair>>>) #ZOMST
#ToyStory5 was incredible omg I was super happy with the idea of Jessie finally getting the spotlight, it’s long overdue but I never thought they would deliver this hard, I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll just say Jessie got the closure she deserves. So beautifully done, cried like a baby 😭
I already loved “I knew it, I knew you” but after watching the film it takes on a whole other life 👏🏽 only Taylor could capture her whole story so perfectly in a song 🤠
I adored #ToyStory5. A thoughtful look at how tech isn’t always inherently the problem - but often amplifies deeper fears of being misunderstood or rejected for who we are. A beautiful expansion of Jessie’s story, genuinely hilarious, and of course stunningly animated. I cried!
Jessie’s arc in #ToyStory5 moved me so much. In the previous films, she is shown to have severe abandonment issues. She always thought that a toy’s role is to make their child happy, but that one day the child would grow up and move on and forget about them. It’s what she dreaded with Andy, and it’s what she fears is happening with Bonnie once tech is introduced.
Jessie realizes however that a toy is much more impactful than she realized, that a toy plays such an important role in a person’s life. The purpose of a toy is much more than simply making a child happy. It is about creating those core memories with a child, memories that last a lifetime. It is not just about the singular moment. Jessie taught Emily so many things through play that shaped Emily into the person she became as an adult. Jessie was given away, yes, but she was never abandoned because the memories she shared with Emily lasted. Jessie knows now that Emily never forgot about her and that she will always matter to her. Emily will always love Jessie and will forever cherish the time that they shared together.
Just finished watching #ToyStory5 and I can’t stop sobbing. It was beyond amazing. My favorite franchise of all time. I love everything about it. I missed buzz and woody’s banter, I missed Jessie and bullseye and all the toys. I was so emotional. This movie proved me why it’s #1.
After watching #ToyStory5, here are my rankings of the franchise:
🥇 Toy Story
🥈 Toy Story 5
🥉 Toy Story 2
4️⃣ Toy Story 3
5️⃣ Toy Story 4
The original still holds the crown, but Toy Story 5 came a lot closer than I ever expected.
Just finished watching #ToyStory5.
This franchise DOES NOT miss.
- Making Jessie the main character was an incredible idea.
- Genuinely funny and emotional.
- Great message
- Best looking Pixar movie yet.
Andrew Stanton, please don't stop making movies. You're really good at it
