I have put thought into the discussions about universal basic income. I believe it should be support for family moms based on the number of kids they have and if any of the kids have special needs. Our oldest has Autism and our youngest was born early with bpd. My wife has had to put her career to the side and cannot go back to work. The systems put in place to help are expensive and not good. She spends most of her time driving the kids to therapists and trying to teach them what they need to learn. That is a respectable and highly demanding job. Why are we not paying mom's that devote their lives to kids that are the future of our nation?

Jesus didn’t abolish jurisdiction when He said, “Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s.” He established it.

Caesar has a jurisdiction.

God has a jurisdiction.

The dividing line is the conscience.

The American Founders built a constitutional order on that principle. They disagreed about many things theologically and politically, but they overwhelmingly rejected the idea that the state possesses authority over the human conscience.

America is a nation where Protestants, Catholics, Jews, and eventually people of every faith or none at all could live under the same constitutional covenant.

Not because faith didn’t matter.

Because faith mattered so much that the Founders were unwilling to let it be subjugated to the state, manipulated by political rulers, or corrupted through coercion, as they had seen happen throughout Europe.

Faith belongs to God. The conscience belongs to God. Caesar has real authority, but Caesar is not God.

That is why I call it political Protestantism. I’m not talking about denominational identity. I’m talking about a political theology that emerged from the Protestant Reformation: God alone is sovereign, the conscience is beyond the jurisdiction of the state, political power is limited, and no earthly ruler has the authority to occupy God’s throne.

That is not a secular idea, that is a profoundly Christian idea. It’s just not a good idea for people who want unlimited amounts of power over other human beings.

I think you are having a misunderstanding of what i was saying. Only Jesus can keep the law means that as humans we are born into sin and will continue to sin at times and need atonement. Jesus was the spotless lamb that was the atonement. Thus only he can keep and fulfill the law. That is why only he is worthy. Without his atonement and you accepting him as your Lord and savior you cannot enter heaven. He said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".

"blameless" (from the Greek word amemptos) means a person is wholehearted in their devotion to God and consistently repents when they do fail.

As a priest, Zechariah regularly offered sacrifices for sin, a practice that would be unnecessary if he were entirely sinless.

Jesus was a spotless lamb without sin. Only he can fulfill the law allowing access to heaven.

In Ephesians4:8-9 Paul quotes Psalm 68:18. the "captives" Jesus led in His train are interpreted as the righteous souls of the Old Testament who were confined to Abraham’s bosom/Hades until His sacrifice freed them

Abraham's bosom was a holding place for humanity until Jesus's death and resurrection. You can see reference in Luke 16:22.

No human could enter heaven until the death and resurrection of Jesus. Only he could fulfill the Law
