Charles McCrory has spent nearly 40 years in an Alabama prison for a crime he did not commit.

The only evidence connecting him to the crime were “bite marks,” that experts now agree were not bite marks. Bite mark analysis —now discredited as a “junk science” — has also led to at least 36 other #wrongfulconvictions nationwide.
