@SpindlerRoy On paper mate yeah, way the game went though I think we were tactically outdone today. Game was never allowed to get a high tempo with some control, 45 seconds a throw of free kick. Got to give them credit. Hopefully new signings settle and can get some momentum going next week

@SpindlerRoy @saley1984 Squad is depleted and the poor recruitment shining through as a result, however we have consistently played like this away from home all season no matter who has played so the excuses don’t wash. Looking ominous for Davies, frustratingly, as think there’s a good manager in there.

@SpindlerRoy Yeah damage limitation but ultimately it’s sloppy goals and individual errors over and over on the road. Never seen such a Jekyll and Hyde side. Lot of pressure on derby at home or it could start to fall apart

@SpindlerRoy @beardybrumrun I think especially away from home he coaches them to control the ball and build rather than counter when we recover the ball. But at 1-0 down there has to be a plan B. It’s the same game over and over recently away from home.

@ChicagoBears @Verizon Thought English football refs were bad, these were something else. However the more worrying thing was shooting ourselves in the foot with penalties, left points on the board which lost us the game. Santos is not a good enough kicker, seen stronger legs on a plastic chair.

@SpindlerRoy Think we are carrying a few in the final third who aren’t fully fit yet. But yeah I can’t see dykes and the duck playing together too often. Imagine he will bring kyogo and Stanno both on and try and go for it second half
