Great words at #AUX2019. “Sometimes leadership requires you to step back and follow” - Jen Bailey. What a great idea for future leaders and how they can learn and develop by following as well as leading. @AshokaUS#welcomechange
I'm proud to where we have come with talking about mental health!! In my personal and professional life I feel positive energy devoted to being mentally healthy; let's keep this momentum going!! #BellLetsTalk
Day 12. Extra life. Every year myself and a small team host extra life. It’s an event where we play games for 24 hours to raise money for Sick kids hospital. This year I raised $200 myself and $850 with all donations. The event grows each year! #changethenow
A thing that touched me at this event was the panel members. They brought some great insight to the table and helped everyone in attendance realize that this issue is still very real. A member even touched on the issue of missing and abused indigenous women. Change is needed!
Day 11. Hosting the Montreal massacre memorial at Georgian College. I was honoured to emcee the event and to help bring awareness to the issue of violence against women. We showed a re-enactment, had a panel discussion, and payed tribute to the women. #changethenow
