This is really embarrassing...
A Chinese tourist visited Nigeria, upon arriving Lagos, he decided to try out the Nigerian food in the local way.
Just as stepped out for the food, a group of boys gathered around him and started demanding money from him.
When he asked them why, they told him he must pay because he's not a Nigerian.
The Chinese tourist wrapped up his assessment after he cried out how he was searched across over 20 checkpoints in a 10km road.
He ended his video by telling people to avoid Nigeria. 😥😥
Politics is all about priorities.
Yesterday, Atiku was in Abuja waiting for the result of the polls he asked his boys to conduct on Twitter,
Meanwhile, Peter Obi and Kwankwaso were already having a broad conversation with party contestants on how to win 2027.
When you see a serious team, e no dey hard to figure out.
My People,
Follow @efeemena & @kofoisart. They are behind some of the powerful videos on the internet. Shower them with massive love.
Encourage them to give us more powerful gist on politics, policy, governance, & the economy.
I need the Twitter handles for Joan Dimka & the @ZikokoCitizen lady presenter, so I can give them a well-deserved shoutout as well.
Nigeria is in safe hands; Olodo Uprising is in trouble. Let the AWAKENING continue! 💪
We have learned that Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@officialABAT), Dr. Sunday Dare (@SundayDareSD), Special Adviser to President #Tinubu, and their supporters are deeply unhappy with us, particularly with our founder, Dr. Von Batten, over our work destroying their reported $9 million lobbying campaign to win over President @realDonaldTrump.
We understand their frustration, and we would like to play the world’s smallest violin for their sorrows.
Here are the facts: President #Tinubu’s planned @UN meeting with President #Trump is dead. The effort to secure President Trump’s support for #Tinubu has failed. The pushed White House meeting is not going to happen. The effort to secure U.S. support for #Tinubu’s presidential campaign has failed.
You spent millions of dollars and countless hours trying to shape Washington’s perception of President #Tinubu. If your response to failure is to invent false stories about our work and Dr. Von Batten, then you have learned nothing from that failure. We are just a lobbying firm. You are the Federal Government of Nigeria. Show some dignity when you lose.
When Nigerians were told that Bola Tinubu & his lackeys were spending taxpayer money saved from the subsidy removal to lobby for Donald Trump’s ear—& a potential meeting on the sidelines of the 81st UNGA in New York—many doubted it. Now that everything is being aired in public. One of two things will happen:
1. He may still attend the UNGA & address the body. He may even sit “very, very, very close” to Trump. But that is as far as Massad Boulos (Gilbert Chagoury’s White House plug) & over $9 million in subsidy savings may get them.
2. He may send Kashim Shettima to represent Nigeria for the third consecutive time. The only time Bola Tinubu attended the UNGA was in 2023, when the euphoria of stealing the people's mandate was still fresh. Since then, the Vice President has attended in his stead.
I hope he gets to sit “very very close” to DJT like the APC claim. Because that is their one & only flex. Their entire propaganda, showboating, & chest-beating rests on that happening.
Whatever happens in New York, the world will be watching. All eyes will be on Nigeria & the man representing the most populous Black country on the planet. There will be winners & losers. No matter which side you are on, one thing is clear: Nigeria’s image is crying for help.
This is not the country we used to know. Nigeria has changed, & generally for the worse.
Election has consequences; these are yours!
If Umahi had visited that road when Peter Obi raised that awareness, this 5-day gridlock would have been avoided and Umahi wouldn't have been there today, apologizing to everyone.
But instead, he challenged Peter Obi to a debate.
And today he's in Edo, debating with the engineers.
Celebrating the Hausa Community and Its Contributions to Nigeria.
As International Hausa Day, I warmly congratulate the Hausa community across Nigeria as they observe their Day in Daura, Katsina State. The Hausa people have made significant and lasting contributions to the growth and development of our nation, enriching Nigeria through their culture, traditions, enterprise, agriculture, scholarship, public service, and dedication to community.
This celebration is not only a moment to honor a proud heritage but also an opportunity to reaffirm the bonds that unite us as Nigerians. Our diversity remains one of our greatest strengths, and our shared future depends on recognizing and respecting the contributions of every community.
As you celebrate in Katsina, I wish you peace, prosperity, and a renewed sense of hope. May this occasion bolster our unity and inspire us to build a Nigeria where every citizen, regardless of ethnicity or background, has equal opportunities to flourish.
Congratulations and best wishes to the Hausa community. -PO
Many Lagosians are wondering why I would accept the nomination to be a Deputy Governorship candidate to a younger Gubernatorial candidate in Gbadebo P Rhodes-Vivour. Many think I am more experienced, mature, etc, and should therefore be the candidate and Gbadebo the deputy.
I have decided to explain this only once.
For decades, those in the corridors of power have repeated the sentence "the youths are the leaders of tomorrow", but have refused, consistently, to leave the scene.
That sentence "the youths are the leaders of tomorrow", has in fact, been a big fat lie the whole time. Let me explain.
In the 1950s, the colonialists carried out an experiment, allowing regional self-rule in Nigeria. Western Nigeria was led by the Action Group, a party led by Obafemi Awolowo, who was in his early 40s.
Many of his colleagues were in their 30s, and some were even in their 20s, like Anthony Enahoro, who demanded independence for Nigeria on the floor of parliament at the grand old age of 23!
That government of mostly young men was easily the most impactful government in Africa, if not the world, at that time.
Moving into the 60s, and many of these men had moved into their 50s, and become so used to the trappings of power, that they forgot that they were in power to serve the people, and not themselves.
A crisis erupted, which eventually resulted in a military coup, led by YOUNG soldiers in their 20s.
A counter coup was to follow 6 months later, led again by young soldiers in their 20s and 30s.
The two governments that arose out of the second coup (another coup happened in 1976), were again, the most impactful governments in Africa, with their influence stretching as far as Britain and South Africa.
General Olusegun Obasanjo (as he then was) was to hand over to much older civilians in 1979, and they promptly began to destroy the vibrant nation he and his colleagues had built, through their selfish, gratuitous politicking.
Again, another coup, and yet another, and Babangida took over, in his 40s, completing projects abandoned by the older civilians, like the 3rd Mainland Bridge and the Shiroro dam.
Coming to Lagos State, Mobolaji Johnson was appointed founding governor at the grand old age of 31, and decided to appoint men like Chiefs Adeniran Ogunsanya, S L Edu and Ganiyu Olawale Dawodu, all in their 50s, into his cabinet.
Again, that government, led by a much YOUNGER man, was probably the most impactful Lagos State has seen since, besides the government of the late Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande.
I am proud to say that I was somewhat instrumental in ensuring that Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour got the Labour Party ticket in 2022, partly because he is a younger man, and also because of the unique skill set he brought to the table, which I still consider to be the best fit for Lagos State right now, following the 27 years of blight, wrought by the greedy, incompetent and wicked Tinubu criminal gang.
I refuse to join those who repeatedly lied to my generation that "the youths are the leaders of tomorrow", when in fact, they led us in their youth!
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour is in his early forties - a perfect time when the energy of youth meets the wisdom of experience. The time for the youths to lead is NOW, not tomorrow, and we need to revert back to what we did before, to get the results we desire for our children and our children's children.
If you want to Make Èkó Great Again, and build a better Lagos than the one we have all endured for the last 27 years, please join Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and I, and help us to chase away the locusts that want to feed on your children's future, while telling you to your face that THEIR youths will be your leaders tomorrow.

Just met a man full of lamentations from spending two days to get to Lagos from the South East of Nigeria, not South East Asia.. The major economic artery roads are almost immotorable. The consequent gridlocks tell of the failure of consequence management in Nigeria and the limits of government by propaganda. Tongue-in-cheek I suggested they should have tried the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. Priorities used to be a key word in planning and budgeting literature. That too may have been flushed down the toilet when Tropical Gangsters rode into town.

“If Sanwoolu can travel from Lagos state to Osun with a billion naira to support Guber campaign in Osun,….
….and they did not deem it fit to pay us our outstanding arrears…..”
- Lagos Pensioners cry out, knocks Sanwoolu.
They will lie to you that H.E. Peter Obi has no momentum or that he will not get the same support he got in 2023. All LIES!
These are lawyers who understand the need for a better Nigeria through a Peter Obi presidency.
We are just getting started. Una go cry wella!
Nigeria Will be OK. ✌🏽
