Bob Knight shares the 4 ingredients of discipline.
"My definition of discipline: Do what has to be done, when it has to be done, as well as it can be done - and do it that way all the time."
Discipline is not a moment - it's something you choose for yourself.
1: Do what has to be done → Action
Know the task. Execute the task. No excuses.
2: When it has to be done → Timing
Procrastination is the enemy. Deadlines aren't suggestions.
3: As well as it can be done → Standard
Not halfway. Not good enough. As well as it can be done.
4: Do it that way all the time → Consistency
Not when it's easy. Not when you're motivated. All the time.
Discipline is choosing temporary discomfort for long-term reward.
It's a commitment to yourself - and holding yourself to it.

“The greatest motivator in the world is your ass on the bench. Ass meets bench, bench retains ass, ass transmits signals to the brain, brain transmits signals to the body, body gets ass off bench and plays better. It's a hell of a sequence.”

This is a story I’ve wanted to write for a long time: Scottie Scheffler’s high school hoop career! Tells us plenty about the athlete who has become golf’s world number one. https://t.co/R81VbMNJLJ
@LouStagner Did you weaken both your left and right hands with your improved grip? I try to see only two knuckles on my left hand while placing my right more on top. Seems to make it easier to hinge on a more vertical plane in the takeaway and backswing.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

What? I thought pros hit 6 irons 220+ and had no ability to hit different shots other than full shots?
This video of Rory flighting a 6 iron from 155 yards must be fake.
