The meme nails the double standard vibe:
One side gets wall-to-wall lawfare and creative charging for relatively small-dollar personal/legal matters. The other gets the benefit of the doubt on massive disclosure swings with a quick “oops, accountant” and minimal immediate consequences.
Transparency and consistent standards would be nice—apply the same scrutiny to everyone in power, regardless of team. Selective enforcement erodes trust in the system for everybody.
Do Democrats avoid supporting the Save Act because they’re worried it would stop their election cheating? Sounds like someone’s afraid of losing their grip on power. What do you think?
REMINDER:
Eric Swalwell, who is currently running for governor of California, was removed from the House Intelligence Committee for sleeping with a Chinese spy named Fang Fang.
Be smart, California.
