@karamellslp I read How God Sees Women: The End of Patriarchy https://t.co/VaZmPZUq4s. I found strong arguments against patriarchal interpretations. One: when Eve is referred to as a “suitable helper” in Gen 2, she is not his subordinate. The expression is used to refer to God elsewhere.

@backpewguy I feel you have an unnecessary dichotomy. My view - yes, first things first. People need to be reconciled to God. That is why Jesus came. But so much flows out of a changed heart. And God cares very much about the poor, the oppressed. Think of the Matt 25 judgement.
