Moments from our Straw Poll Breakfast!
A big thank you to all candidates and voters who joined us! It was a great morning of good old-fashioned politicking as we approach a competitive primary election.
Is church unity exclusively spiritual - that is to say, non-political and non-social?
Define the church's ministry as narrowly as you like, and the answer's still No.
Pastors teach the Bible. The Bible addresses political topics. As churches hear and embrace what the Bible says about politics, they come to share common convictions about politics. When they vote, they form a voting bloc, though sometimes a loose one.
Or: Pastors are determinedly apolitical, and discourage members from voting or participating in politics. Either way, just by being pastors (good or bad ones), pastors have political clout.
Christians worship together. They chat over coffee in the narthex and become friends. They spend time together outside church, their children play together, they might collaborate in business or join the same clubs. "Spiritual" fellowship at church naturally forms a Christian society.
Etc.

Robinson also served as payload mission manager for Artemis I, the uncrewed test flight that laid the groundwork for Artemis II.
