Mark Carney was sold to us as the financial genius. The adult in the room. The Trump whisperer who’d “get the deal done.”

He was going to handle Trump.
He was going to protect Canada.
He was going to build “Canada Strong.”
He was going to deliver a clean U.S. deal by July 2025.

And now?

Canada just entered a “technical” recession — aka the economy shrank for two straight quarters while the polite media clutches pearls.

The U.S. and Mexico are cutting trade deals without us.
We still don’t have the “clean deal” Carney swore he’d deliver.
He jets to New York and tells them “Canada Strong will help Make America Great Again.”
His own portfolio? 90%+ parked in the U.S. — while he lectures Canadians to “invest in Canada.”

Even Steven Guilbeault bailed because Carney suddenly discovered oil, gas, pipelines, and basic economic reality exist.

This is the **SAME** Doug Ford who ordered **ALL** American booze pulled from LCBO shelves in 2025 — and still refuses to put it back until the US “concedes” in the trade war.

The same guy whose government blew **$75 MILLION** of Ontario taxpayer dollars on big anti-tariff ads in the US (that even Mark Carney reportedly begged him to pull).

But now — literally the day after Carney goes south and says a “strong Canada will help Make America Great Again” — Ford suddenly flips the script and wants urgency?

BREAKING: a BC First Nation just put in writing, to the BC government, their threats:

✅ They will block the Island Highway

✅ They will block marine terminals

✅ They will block Seymour Narrows, the only cruise ship and shipping corridor through that section of coast

✅ They will block BC Hydro dams in the Campbell River watershed

They will do it all, unless the K’omoks treaty is paused.

In other words, infighting for a land claim.

As a reminder, the 2022 Convoy didn’t block hydro dams, critical infrastructure or shipping corridors.

Nor was a formal threat made to the government of civil disobedience.
