Jon Stewart admits the DSA people are a little nuts, he just doesn't care, "generally, their crazy ideas aren’t where the energy is. The energy isn't around, like, “We shouldn't have prisons or borders.” The energy is around a belief that their economic populism...It is about strengthening a safety net for a country that has suffered too long overvaluing capital and money and undervaluing labor and work! That’s all this [bleep] is." (1/2)
50% tariffs on Canada are going to wreck working families.
Paul LePage doesn't care. He says he knows tariffs will "hurt" — but he's "all for them" anyway.
Of course he is. He's watching from a golf community in Florida while Mainers eat the cost at the register.
🔥from @RoKhanna stumping for @AbdulElSayed:
“The last people who have any right to lecture us about electability are the establishment who lost to Trump twice. I don’t want to hear it. If you had anything to do with those campaigns, please sit down.”
James Carville is Beshear's campaign manager. He's telling him to not move on the McConnell seat thing bc it might get messy and he may lose some future votes.
I got news for Mr. Carville, Beshear's going to lose many more votes doing nothing.
The "doing nothing" option is gone today.
🔥“Every time I come on CNN you guys ask me the same questions.”
Dr. @AbdulElSayed deftly handles @jaketapper as he plays defense attorney for 🇮🇱 + AIPAC-backed Haley Stevens — even implying calling out $50 MILLION from special interests = Trump’s assault on our democracy 🤔
After all that drama, we’re going to end up with a Maine Democratic nominee who has the same politics as Platner without the scandals AND who has a history of winning in red areas?
Yeah, this is as good as it gets.
The difference in demographics between Abdul’s rallies and Haley Stevens rallies is remarkable in that Abdul’s rallies have people and Haley Stevens’ do not.

WSJ report on the stunning amount of money Israel is spending on propaganda includes this: Brad Parscale works for Israel AND is chief strategy officer at Salem media. His contract for Israel involved “integration of narrative messaging into Salem Media Network properties”(!!)
I’m endorsing Dr. Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate in Michigan.
I interviewed Abdul, and the conversation made news because he was doing what too many politicians avoid: speaking plainly, naming who is hurting working people, and backing it up with facts.
He believes healthcare is a human right, wages should let people live with dignity, and corporations should not be able to buy our democracy.
Paid influencers can suddenly claim Haley Stevens is “growing on them.” Fine. But no scripted rebrand erases the corporate PAC money from BlackRock, Boeing, Cigna, Comcast, Goldman Sachs, Humana, Verizon, and dozens more.
Michigan needs a senator who answers to people; not a donor list.
