@kateshellnutt Too many churches call men on staff “pastors” but don’t expect/allow them to function as pastors. This dilution of the term paved the way for the confusion over women as “children’s pastor,” etc.

@kateshellnutt The Bible describes churches with multiple pastors, not just one senior pastor. But if a church is going to call someone pastor, he should not only meet all the qualifications; he should also be expected to fulfill all of the functions.
