@weekley I went to school during the Rosemary Kosiorek led teams but imagine Georgeann Wells stories, for example her time with the Harlem Globetrotters, would be worth a drink or a meal.
@weekley Many great people built the WVU women's basketball program. I wonder how this play shaped the history of the entire program. Georgeann Wells had the first dunk by a female in competition, 12/ 21/1984 against the University of Charleston.
I usually listen to the @lruettimann Punk Rock HR podcast as I strive for 10k steps daily. I was glad to purchase one of the best voices in HR’s new work in an audiobook format. I am looking forward to starting this in the morning before work. #HRFitCrew
I am grateful to be a member of @SHRM. I am thankful that my employer, @DeptVetAffairs, is such an active provider for @SHRMCertified activities and for authors like @CurrenceGroup and @sbrownehr for allowing their wonderful books to be used for professional development credits.
I am thankful for folks like @sbrownehr that bring people together in unexpected ways. I am looking forward to purchasing, reading, and hopefully listening to his new book soon. #HRRising
I met a new pharmacist today at work. He said he went to a Pharmacy school in a small place called Ada, OH. I know the town because it is the hometown @sbrownehr (I finished listening to his first book for a third time on Saturday.)
@villanovahrd Thank you for this quick article. It is an excellent overview giving context to how a company may more effectively use their HR personnel.
@HRRockStar1@HR_Shield This is a great podcast and product. I extolled it as a stellar example of micro learning to everyone in my graduate HR program. The professor liked it as well. Thank you for the time and effort to create this gem.
@sbrownehr You were right. I crushed it! I appreciate you so much for your kindness and ability to connect others so we can help each other and empower our organizations to be their best #HRonPurpose
@sbrownehr I have two weeks before my capstone course in HRM and was glad to see that I can now relax and listen to your book in audio. I am really looking forward to it. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
Thanks to the HR twitter verse for constantly encouraging me
with positive insight about the workplace. It was a good week to recertify my #SHRM-SCP and complete my MS-HRM @WCUofPA. I also signed up to complete the @SHRMFoundation Veterans at WorkCertificate @SHRM#HR
@sbrownehr I have so many cool reflections to share from listening to your book this weekend. One key was that your stories fit so well with the message. The next book will be even better. Particularly geeked! about the possibility of chapter one as I was an Army Bandmaster and musician.
@Jon_Thurmond I have found watching and listening to everyone’s posts, podcasts, and blogs to be incredibly valuable. I have been able to gather a diverse group of ideas/opinions and this has helped me serve others more effectively. #HRSocialHour
@Jon_Thurmond I am sure we do. One of my favorite parts of being an Army musician was traveling the country/world and seeing old friends. Now I primarily use social media.
@Jon_Thurmond I am new to this side of HR but why I came to HR is still my motivation, remove obstacles and empower folks so they can better serve our customers and focus on creating great products. #HRSocialHour
@SHRMCallieZ Congratulations on a well deserved achievement. Also, thank you for all of the great content you provide on the Honest HR podcast. I appreciate your voice in HR very much.
